Because AOL/Compuserve is being a butt...
- They just conveniently decided LiveJournal users are using too much bandwidth by posting pictures (coincidently on the same weekend they launched their own journalling service - *SNORT).

Sooo...
This is a place for my entries with pictures until I manage to change ISPs....

There was a partial eclipse this afternoon after I got home from work, starting at about 5 pm. The light started getting dimmer and dimmer, as if the clouds were coming in off the ocean, yet it was only slightly hazy. We all went out in the front yard for a look.

I took this through a piece of exposed film.

The guys at work were laughing about some people on the news who were looking at an eclipse through a colander. It actually works pretty well, but you're not supposed to look through it.

Pretty, huh? I'm pretty happy with my hp318!

Me and my dad had a fun time, but the boys could have cared less. A friend drove by while we were out in the front yard and wondered what we were looking at. I showed the piece of film but warned her to only look for a second. She exclaimed, " I wondered why the light was getting so weird!"
